Access Statement Gwersyllfa Pant Yr Onnen Lakeside Campsite welcomes everyone. The campsite caters for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents and 3 x Shepherds Huts. The campsite is set in beautiful natural surroundings, sloping in parts and flat in others. The Lakeside Campsite is situated on the B4403 approx 3.5 miles from the town of Bala. Our entrance is situated opposite Llangower Village Hall. Our Postcode is LL23 7BT. If you are approaching us from the Bala end of the lake, some SAT NAVS will tell you to turn left away from the lake, DO NOT TURN LEFT (away from the lake) – continue along the B4403 with the lake on your right and you will reach our entrance on your right opposite Llangower Village Hall. What3Words: ///parrot.kicks.munch. Grid Reference is SH90383 32554 X(Easting) 290383 Y(Northing)332554 Latitude 52.879245 Longitude -3.630298 Entrance to the campsite is over a narrow bridge. (Gross axle weight limit of 5 tonnes). All but the very biggest RV’s can come over it, just take it easy! The entrance gate to the campsite is kept closed for safety reasons, please close it behind you. Reception is on the right as you enter the site, which has a ramp access. Roads within the campsite are either tarmac or gravel and there is a 10mph speed limit. We have a variety of pitch options and help with pitching is always available. There is limited lighting at night as we are situated in the Dark Sky Reserve. The facilities are situated next to the reception and accessed by foot and it is lit at night. We have a disabled toilet, basin and shower with easy access for wheelchair users. It has a seat and grab rails. Assistance dogs are permitted in the disabled facility. Fire points and drinking water taps are conveniently dotted around the site. Chemical Toilet, Waste and Recycling bins are situated behind reception. Well behaved Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a short lead. The nearest Defibrillator is situated in the village in the old telephone kiosk. The closest rail link is Wrexham/Ruabon with buses from there to Bala. There is a Taxi service available from Bala. Please ask at Reception for the phone number. Bala Lake Narrow Gauge Railway runs from Bala to Llanuwchllyn and stops at the Llangower Halt Station. (within walking distance of the campsite along the foreshore of the lake.) Emergency and useful numbers are displayed on our Noticeboard by Reception. Mobile telephone coverage is good for all networks on the site. We have a telephone available at all times for emergency use only, please ask at Reception.
